Who is FlowCode ideal for?
The FlowCode business operating system has been designed to meet the organization at all stages of its scaling. We have clients that are one-person operations, corporate clients and everything in between.
Is there a contract I need to sign?
Yes, we require you to sign a 12-month contract so that we can allocate you a specific FlowCoder (our term for scale coach). We also want to ensure that you get the best success working with FlowCode and change management takes time.
What is a FlowCoder?
A FlowCoder is a highly trained business coach / consultant that has been trained on FlowCode methodology and the FlowCode software. They work with you on a monthly basis to help you build out your business strategy and to support you in ensuring that your business strategy is executed. Your FlowCoder, over time, becomes your accountability partner and someone you can trust to help you through those tough decisions and to calm you during those chaotic crisis moments.
What is a Team License?
This is the license type assigned to your staff which allows them to view all the Objectives, Projects, Tasks and Targets (OPTTs) you have allocated to them. They can see their own OPTTs and you can see their OPTTs but they cannot see the strategy from which you derived the OPTTs – unless you assign them a management licence.
How does FlowCode improve alignment?

What is the ideal number of FlowCoding hours per month?
Startup plan
While the minimum number of monthly FlowCoding hours is two for the Startup plan, we strongly recommend four hours a month (i.e. two sessions of two hours every two weeks). This cadence is extremely powerful in ensuring strategy is formulated and executed, formulated and executed.
Takeoff plan
The ideal number of FlowCoding hours for the Takeoff plan depends on the number of managers and / or heads of department in your organization. We recommend starting with four hours and then, when you are ready, increasing this to six FlowCoding hours per month. Two or more of these six hours can be allocated to one or more of your managers.
Growth plan
Although the Growth plan has minimum number of six FlowCoding hours per month, we have found that organizations with multiple managers tend to use an average of ten FlowCoding hours per month.
How would we use FlowCode if we are a small business with two partners?
We recommend the Startup plan with one strategy seat license. Both partners would use the same strategy seat license and both would be present during FlowCoding sessions. There is no additional cost for multiple people to be present in a session with a FlowCoder. However, the maximum number of people permitted in one FlowCoding session is five.
What will happen to my information if I decide not to carry on with FlowCode into the future?
All the information you input in the FlowCode system is available for you to download as CSV files. Additionally, any graphics you create in the system are also downloadable. After we shut down your account, we keep your data archived for three months after which we completely delete it.
What is a strategy formulation module?
FlowCode has many modules to support business owners, CEO’s or managers to create well-thought-through strategy. Each strategy formulation module comprises numerous catalogues that, in turn, contain the super-tools or elements that actually help you formulate that particular strategy. Effectively, catalogues are groupings of different strategy formulation super-tools for a particular area of business. For example, a catalogue of competencies would contain strategy formulation super-tools on critical competencies, core competencies, scale competencies, etc. Strategy formulation modules are generally the domain of senior management in your business. Employees with an OPTT license would not have rights to view your strategy formulation modules.
